An enjoyable lunch at The Tayberry Restaurant in Broughty Ferry enhanced by the views over to Tentsmuir Forrest.
A short 20 minutes drive from the Hideaway Experience takes you to the Dundee suburb of Broughty Ferry.
The main street is lined with boutique shops, local produce and various cafes, bars and restaurants. You could certainly easily spend an afternoon here, just browsing the shops and leisurely stopping for food and drink.
A five minute walk from the main hub, located conviently next to the beach, is The Tayberry Restaurant. Awarded 2AA rosettes, it is a contemporary dining experience with a seasonal menu taking inspiration from the surrounding land.
Victoria, our manager, visited here for a lunch in March 2023 and was impressed by the friendly staff and the presentation and more importantly, taste, of the dishes. If you get the opportunity to sit upstairs then there is a beautiful picture window with views across the Tay and over to Tentsmuir Forrest in Fife.
Round off your afternoon with a stroll along Broughty Ferry Beach which can be accessed just over the road from the restaurant.
