We are delighted to be able to offer our own prime Scotch beef for sale from our own herd of Aberdeen Angus and Hereford cattle.
You can now add delicious sirloin steaks, ribeye steaks, fillet steaks, burgers and sausages to your booking to be ready in the fridge for your arrival. We also have a large selection of roasts and other cuts of meat available in the freezer which you can enjoy during your stay or buy to take home.
At The Hideaway Experience we value quality above all else. These values are also represented in our farming practices here on Balkello Farm. The farm to fork experience that we can now offer you during your stay is with the highest quality of Scotch Beef that we have produced on farm right where you are staying.
Our cattle graze the green pastures on the farm right up to the very top of the hill behind the Hideaway. This will truly connect the story to the product. We believe that understanding the journey and appreciating the process involved enhances your enjoyment.
All of our Scotch beef is quality assured by Quality Meat Scotland to ensure we are consistently producing a premium product to the market and for our guests.
Butchered by our award-winning local butcher. These cuts are frozen fresh from butchering and will be defrosted and delivered to your fridge ready for your arrival.
If you live nearby, you can also arrange to visit the farm and buy some of our meat without waiting to stay.
